Registered Mental Health Nurse - County Durham - County Durham, Durham
We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse for a nursing home in County Durham.
Key responsibilities:
Assess residents care needs, and provide health supervision and direct nursing care.
Accurately review and maintain records o a daily and periodic basis.
Work within NMC guidelines & company policy.
Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the Company's procedure and NMC guidelines.
Participate in Staff and Client meetings
Supervise and instruct junior and new staff members.
Report any illness of an infectious nature or accident incurred by a the resident, colleague, self or another.
Required:
Qualified RMN
Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable)
Excellent communication skills.
