You will support key projects across the business, working with advanced technologies and a diverse supplier base.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n- Work collaboratively within the Purchasing Team to support business strategy\n\n- Implement supplier tendering and selection processes\n\n- Negotiate and draft contracts with selected suppliers\n\n- Steer industrialisation and digitalisation in line with Group CSR strategy\n\n- Consolidate supplier assessments (quality, logistics, purchasing)\n\n- Drive supplier improvement action plans to enhance performance and reduce costs\n\n- Manage supplier relationships and ensure contractual compliance\n\n- Maintain accurate purchasing data in internal systems\n\n- Proactively resolve disputes and manage evolving needs\n\n- Promote best practices across your supplier portfolio\n\n- Support the Category Manager and coordinate actions where required\n\n- Support source start‑up processes\n\n- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and Safran internal standards\n\nEssential\n\n- Knowledge of purchasing methodologies and processes\n\n- Proficiency in written and spoken English\n\n- Strong numerical skills\n\n- Highly organised, structured approach and able to work using own initiative\n\n- Focused, task‑oriented and resilient\n\n- Strong communication, listening and negotiation abilities\n\n- Understanding of Safran's technical environment\n\n- Knowledge of industrial and purchasing policies, including contract law\n\n- Familiarity with Lean‑Sigma tools\n\n- Previous experience within a purchasing team using purchasing information systems\n\nDesirable\n\n- Project management experience\n\n- Business Administration qualifications or similar\n\n- Customer Service training\n\n- CIPS qualifications
