A leading life sciences organisation is seeking an ambitious Inside Sales Representative to join its growing commercial team.\n\n This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual to play a key role in generating new business opportunities across the UK and Europe, supporting customers within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and clinical research sectors.\n\n The successful candidate will work closely with commercial leadership, marketing and field sales teams to build pipeline, qualify opportunities and contribute to continued business growth.\n\n The Role \n\nAs an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying sales opportunities through a combination of inbound lead management and proactive outbound business development activity.\n\n You'll engage with prospective customers, support targeted commercial campaigns and help progress opportunities through the sales process. The role also offers exposure to proposal development and the opportunity to support wider commercial activities across multiple territories.\n\n This position provides excellent visibility across the organisation and offers genuine long-term career development opportunities within a growing life sciences business.\n\n Key Responsibilities \nGenerate and qualify new sales opportunities across UK and European markets \nManage and respond to inbound enquiries from marketing campaigns, events, webinars and website leads \nConduct proactive outbound prospecting activity via email, LinkedIn, telephone and other lead generation channels \nWork closely with field-based sales teams to support territory growth initiatives \nBuild relationships with prospective customers and identify commercial opportunities \nSupport the preparation of proposals and commercial documentation \nMaintain accurate records of activity, pipeline and opportunities within CRM systems \nCollaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute targeted campaigns \nSupport customer engagement activities, meetings and events where required \nContribute to the achievement of commercial growth objectives About You \n\nWe're interested in speaking with candidates who have experience within:\n \nInside Sales \nSales Development \nBusiness Development \nLead Generation \nCommercial Support \nCustomer Engagement You'll ideally possess:\n \nA minimum of 2 years' experience within a sales, business development or lead generation environment \nStrong communication and relationship-building skills \nA proactive and driven approach to business development \nExperience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot or similar platforms \nStrong organisational and time management skills \nThe ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team environment \nA data-driven and commercially focused mindset
